Hong Kong!!! second time here, the first time was 5 years ago. this time ... there's only 3 ppl, me, my sis and my brother. the trip is kinda casual and we walk til our legs fall off.

with an hour delay flight, we reach Hong Kong airport at almost noon. we stay at Park Hotel ... somewhere on cameron rd., in tsim sha tsui. spending the fisrt afternoon walking around tsim ... near our old hotel, mirama (which is way more fanc when the one we stay this time cuz our parents were coming too) the shop havent change much from what i remember. our main transportation is the subway and our leg! no, i didnt shop til i drop ... although i do get some cute stuffs (i'll show u later the cutest thing i found) ... we spant most of our money on subway and FOOD! here's some pic just to make your mouth waterin'

here's what i've been doing in the passed month. my daily routine is .. waking up at 6.30 after Mon finish her bath, having instant breakfast and watchin' morning news talk program ... leavin' the apartment at 7.30am working hour at Benson Jewelry starts from 8.00 to 12.00 (or 12.15 or 12.30, this changes weekly) and 1.00pm (1.15 and 1.30) until 17.00 ... then we drive to BIG C for food ... go back to our room around 6.30 or so and watch the evening soap and news on ch.7 ... taking' turn takin' a shower and watch the night soaps until we sleep.

enterin' the factory a lil' before 8.00am .. there's a metal detector at the front door .. the guards gotta search u by hand befor entering and with the beepin' thing when you leave. then i'm heading to the BOM (bills of materials) department, sharing the same room they store the rubber mold. i work as .. some kind of  processing system planning? well .. when the order and the drawing arrives .. we have to figure out what kind of work it is. wehave tubing line, casting line and pressing line. after that we assigned the work to the ppl in charge. she will decide how to produce that piece .. concering the machine we have, our ppl's skill and also .. on how many pieces the customers want. i mean, if they only want one or two for samples, we will do it by hand. if they want big lots like 100,000 we can invent a new machine or something, cuz it worth it and it help us keep all the peice in the same standard. but if it's the small lots like 1000 or so. we cant do it by hand and we cant put too much money in new molding or spindle ... we have to find the way. and that's kinda my job.

other than that, i work as a co-operator between each department .. cuz when i write the BOM-sheet (that's the direction on how to produce each piece) some thing might go wrong along the production line .. or some ppl might not quite understand what i mean. so, basicly, my jon each day is running around the factory ... room to room ... with a control sheets and samples.

good day ppl!! anyone missed me? i think no one would notice that i'm gone for almost a month!! (except now i'm mention it .. you might gaze up and check the post date and said .. yea~who cares.)

i've been away on this internship thing. working at a silver-jewelry factory, which i found out later that they export their stuff to TIFFANY&CO, DIOR, and all those shop~a~holic fav brands. geez, i have to many things to writes and dunno where to begin. with only few hours left on my cyber world, i spent all my holidays doin' nothing but lyin' around watchin TV. i'm headin' back to the other dorm soon. i'll just put all things that happened to my in non-ordered bullets and will tells you more about it when i have nothin' to write about in da future ... lol

- sharing a 3.5x5 sq.m (i think) room with my friends ... a blank room with closets and bed. we have TV and air-con but no fridge, microwave or warm water for shower ... and no freakin' internet!!
- working as a blue collar ... 8 hours shift with lower than minimum pay rate
- watching every thai soaps ... so that i would have something to talk to my colleague everyday.
- listenin' to country music ... like karabao, punch, tik shee~ro ... quite catchy and kinda nice, actually
- daily meal routine ... instant food in da cup ... cafeteria meal ... and junkie fast food in the evening

now, list of thing i missed while i'm away
- the blogs.com's new dashboard design ... kinda confused ... need more time to get used to it
- the protestors' mob comes to siam paragon ... and i'm not around to join them
- tons of movies ~ shoppings ~ sales
- some cable tv's stuff .. like the oc, navy n.c.i.s., cold case

hmm .. i guess that's all i could think about .. will go through more details when i get back ... only 3-4 days left for my first part internship.
