quote from a telenovela, or a spanish soap series, called QUANDO SEAS MIA from ubc series. it's a stupid show, i know. somehow i cant stop myself from watching it. i mean ... who can resist a little bit of soap? and this one is perfect. althought it's on every weekdays, you can spend 3 weeks studying, missing 15 episodes ... and catch up all the story in the next one. you wont miss a thing. everything .. every twist .. every problem will be solve in a single episode .. also ... if you're having a baby ... it can take you 5 minutes to 5 episode from contraction to delivered, same as a single dinner, depend in how important your roles are.

still ... i love to see how they will explain all those non-sense twist ... i'm going away for internship for two monhs ...but i believe i wouldn't miss anything .. and the show will still go on.

hey~hey here comes another Cronenberg's film. this Canadian director did it again this time. after Spider ... 3 years ago. here's A History of Violence. i saw a lots of bad comments about it .. but i just love the title ... even before i know any detail about it ... the plot, the director ... the minute i walked in. all i know is the title and the poster .... lol ... that's so me, impulsive decision.

sittin' there alone in my own row in da the cinema, i dont regrets chosing this film over brokeback. (i moved once during the king's antheme cuz the farang girls next to me keep talkin' and chewin' on their snacks the whole commercial time ... i dont wanna take a risk ... so i moved the first chance i get. i dont mind sittin' too close to the screen, in the small theatre like Lido, no one will. i just wanna enjoy my movie, with peace.)

i love Tom Stall ... i love the character and also think Viggo Mortensen did pretty great on his part. don't know who that is? i did know his face from other small roles ... but as a no-LOTR-watcher .. i have to admit that this introduction is easier for most people to understand, he's Aragorn.

that's my favourite quote from the film. and don't get me wrong, one of my fav scene is the sex on the stairs. i mean ... look at the guy's eyes ... and all the details Cronenberg showin' us. i heard my good farang friends voice in the back row (that i moved away from) commenting about the edie nude after the sex ... what's the reason for showing a half second full frontal nudity that u can missed in a blink of the eye? as in Cronenberg's other films, this one also speaks on many levels, and i suggest seeing it more than once to fully take it all in. beautiful performances all around. well, go see it again and you'll understand.

hmmm .... did i gave out too much detail? did i spoiled the film? i have to put spoiled-warning on top of the blog. how can one comment on a film without spoilin' it, i wonder.

last week, in my product design class, i have to hand in a sample-resume and cover letter (they want us to practice writing it) along with an actual profile of school/office you apply to. i took it as an oppertunities to pre-search my FE & HE ... so i spent half and hour writing resume and cover letter ... and the rest of the night searching for culinary art and photography school. lots of interesting place showed up on the list ... i check them out narrow my choice. i even e-mail m resume to some of them ... just to try my luck. lots of them reply with "thanks for interesting, but you have to wait for next year 'til you can apply" kinda thing ... cuz i still have one more year left here at chula.

but yeaterday, i went downstair for dinner ... i stop at the mailbox to check if any bills arrive yet. i found this!!!!

the culinary institute of america .. or so called CIA (yea, that's funny) ... the new york campus ... they ACTUALLY sent me the application and stuff!!! oh my god!! and they work really fast ... i just e-mail them last wednesday dnd monday evening ... the envenlope is in my post!! this kinda thing will NEVER happen in thai school system.

i'm trilled ... and excited ... feelin' like my dream's comin' closer. i still have some unsolved issue .. a degree and my family. i mean ... the school provided bachelor and associate degree ... i (hopefully will) already have a BSc ... i dont mind another BA but some ppl might think it's a waste of time .. i should go for the master or something. and my mom ... she wouldn't let me go there alone ... if i go to the state for study .. i have to go to baltimore where my uncle lives. hmmmm ... and i havent discuss the feild with her eithey ... i mean "cooking school" could be hard to accept in some case.

anyway .. i'm still so excited!!! i really wanna go there if they accept me ... but no need to rush, right? i still have one more year left.

a while ago .. i just got back from siam and gettin' ready to clear tons of work pilin' in front of me. it's about 10 pm and jeab, my roommate, decided to take a nap in the bedroom. i'm workin' and workin' .. and then p na came to my room, bringin' me a wireless mouse (cuz i couldnt find my tablet pen) i just got up from my computer ... took out my glasses and walk him to the elevator. i SWEAR i check the door, makin' sure it was unlock, and i leave it open. walkin' back from the elev. i heard the scariest sound ... the door slam shut!!! i was like ... shit!! standing there outside my room, no money, glasses or even a pair of shoes, i turned back .. the elev is gone. i knocked .. no answer .... my second reaction is to run to the elev. and press the down button ... then i came back to my door and knockin' it like a crazy person. jeab is in the bedroom so she can't hear me. the elev. came ... i ran barefoot .. as fast as i could ... i know it looks weired and funny cuz my blurry eye saw a (pretty cute) foreign guy in the elev. gaze at me and smile. the elev. went right down .. reach the P1. i tried to look for p na, but he walk damn fast and disappear. then, i spot some figure that look like him, i decided to take a chance and runnin' blurry to that figure ... i culd yell cuz i'm not sure if that's him. that figure walk right out the soi. , takin' a left turn ... but he walk pass p na's shop. that's how i know i followed the wrong guy. next thing i know, i'm standing at the bus stop ... at around 10.30 (i dont even have a watch on) ... no phone. no money. barefoot. locked out of my room. and worst thing is .... no glasses!!

then i decided to walk back to the condo ... i went to the payphone in front of the toilet, trying my luck if someone might left a coin in the phone. ... nothing ... so i walk back to the security guard and ask if i can use the phone in front of him. sadly, that phone is kinda like an inter-comp ... it's for the condo inner line ... and my rooms inner line is outside the badroom. of course no one pick up. then i make a puppydog face and ask the guard if i could borrow his cell-phone, and tell him that i was lock out of my room. wothout any second though, he kindly handed me his cell ... i instantly dial p'na number ... and ... waitin' .... waitin' ... h didnt pick up. but five's seconds later, he called back and i told him what happened. he use his other phone to call jeab and ask her to open the door for me. thanks to that kind guard ,,, sadly i couldnt remember his face (i hardly see him) .. or i will buy him some treat tomorrow.

note to self: never leave your room without youe cellphone .. or some coins in your pocket!! and if you are short-sighted, only took your glasses off when you're showerin' or sleepin' only!!
