it's OVER now!! we've LOST!!

hmmm~this is kinda sad.

well, since i already blog about photography, i'll blog about this baby as well. i just discovered her not so long ago .. and still havent had the honour to own one. if you like photography and retro stuff, then you should know her. yes, i'm talkin' about Diana, the plastic toy camera.

i came across her one day while i was surfing tru the net ... checkin' on some camera-price-list. no, i'm not buyin' a new camera, although i'm dying to. i have no money left since all my saving had been transform into bags, shoes, books .. and the expy meal at anotherhound.

now, let me introduce you to miss Diana. Actually, she's just a toy camera that gives you a fuzzy picture with an vignetted edge ... some said she's crappy, cheap and just a promotional camera that been out of production for a quarter of century.

"Diana cameras use medium format film, but they only shoot 4cm x 4cm negatives which means that you get 16 pictures as opposed to 12.
Most Diana cameras have a Bulb/Instant setting, 3 aperture settings and a front-twisting focus knob. The shutter only fires at one speed and will vary from camera to camera depending on how well the spring tension has withstood the test of time."

spent the whole day tryin' to edit the blog's CSS code today. things r going pretty until i finished. i felt very proud and decided to creat another blog under my account ... i did and i try to change the new blog skin ... and boom! i did the wrong blog ... all my settings are gone. well, it's not a total waste of time .. at least i got to learn some CSS and a lil' of HTML. will recoded the blog again sometime soon.

also, i've been scannin' some slide-film. the colour is kinda dull .. guess my scannin' and photoshopin' skill arent that good. it was a photo-shootin' trip at pratatid road. i went there with p na after new year.

hmmm ... maybe it's not the scanner or photoshop afterall. maybe it's just my photography skill ... lol. i still got some developed films left at p na's. he always took and developed them for me ... but never return ... no surprise if he's already lost them!!

still craving for some BIFF movies ... but have no time nor money. arghhh !!

went to the BIFF with p na after my jewelry class today. i was so excited cuz i havent seen a good movie for ages!! (actually, it's only a month and a half for me .. but feels like forever) checkin' the schedule in front of the cinema, i found that the first two part of the PUSHER TRIOLOGY is on ... 8.00pm and 10.00pm ... in the same seat, so i dont have to leave after the first one end.

gettin' there .. the new PARAGON CINEPLEX ... it was somewhat fancy and the seat is as big as it cost ... i can put two ONG or FON in there (not me cuz i'm too fat) another good news is ... the director, mr. Nicolas Winding Refn, is there with us .. he gaves a little speach before the show .. WHICH I MISSED!! i was looking forword to tlking to him after the second show .. sadly, p na got a terrible headache ... he ensisted to stay in his seat until the end, cuz he dun wanna walk out in front of the director. after the first film end, we've just rushed out of there .. i wish i could stop for a little chat or at least a hand-shake .. but i dont wanna be to selfish ... i mean i got a sick man on my side .. i should get him home ASAP.

the film was GREAT though ... sadly i missed the second part ... AND LOST 280B. FOR FREE ... i wont spoiled the story .. just gonna tll u that i love the way he present all those emotion RAW nad ROUGH via those a bit flaky picture.

after months of browsing the same webpage everyday .... i went to siam paragon today and the LOOP finally imported this cute collection, the UNZIPPED.

it's a small duffel bag with a small hole in the front pocket. with this hole, you can pull out your smalltalk, headphones cord out of that hole ... with out let your zip open or risking your wire to be zipped. it's quite a stupid concept, i know. sounds very "แถ" but i still love it. especially, with my iPOD nano ... i'm now crazy about everything that supported it.

at siam paragon, there's only 4 colours (out of 5) avaliable .. and the black/pink isn't look that good in real life as it did on screen. so i decided to wait .... for like 3 hours ...lol. i went straight to Chidlom after an afternoon meal @grayhound siam center with Nanan and Temmie. Sadly, Chidlom only has 3 colours, but they offer more models in the collection. whatever. i already made up my mind the first time i saw the webpage that i want this small duffle ... only thing i have to pick is the colour. luckily, i had Temmie, the colour expert to help me. after 10-15 mins of pulling the stuffing paper out of every colour and try them all, i ended up with the yellow/purple one. what a scheme! right?

another happy thing is ... it only (?) cost 1400B. the reason i said ONLY is when i first saw it, it cost 32$ (about 1300B.) i tried to buy it via some thai online store that offer these kinda service (they imported stuff for you, and shipped it right to your door. pretty good way to shop for those who doesnt have a cradit card, or US address cuz sometime those web doesnt ship abroad.) the lowest price i got from those shop (included tax, shipping, service charge ... ) is 2300B. which is a bit too pricy for such a small bag.

well, i've just re-searched. the link to the collection is dead, dont know why. so i cant show you the pic right now. have to wait til i borrow my friend's camera. can you believe it? i LOVE photography .. and i tooks TONS of photo ... but i dont even have my own digital camera. i only have Nikon F3 my dad gave me .. we'll talk about this later.
